February 13, 2019 marked a special milestone for two of our team members at StressCrete. It was the one year service anniversary for Saher Emmun and Mohamad Sido, who joined our Finishing Department in February 2018. Saher and Sido, with their families, moved to Canada from Syria just a few short years ago. They came to work at StressCrete through our partnership with the Immigrants Working Centre (IWC) in Hamilton, and are the first of our new hires from the IWC to reach the one-year service milestone. Saher recently shared the exciting news that he’s been approved for his first mortgage in Canada!
As a company that strives to better the lives of our employees and their families, we couldn’t be happier to have played a small part in helping Saher realize the dream of home ownership in Canada. We look forward to celebrating more happy milestones with some of the great people we’ve connected with via the IWC.
