IWC’s Community Connections activities provide opportunities for collective learning and skills-development in small groups, online and in person. Community Connections groups provide opportunities to practice English, meet new people with shared interests, get to know established Canadians, build professional and social networks.
Settlement in a new country is challenging - navigating your new city, managing your money, connecting in a digital world and meeting new people are important parts of the complex settlement process. Through our Community Connections activities, you can develop the skills, tools and connections you need to thrive in Hamilton, all while meeting other newcomers along the way.
