Outdoor Family Activities in Hamilton

Free Ferris Wheel Rides in Gore Park

 

Gore Park, 1 Hughson Street South, Hamilton 

This event will take place from 12pm to 8pm on Dec. 8th to 23rd 

No cost and available for all ages. 

 

Locke St Holiday Market Pop-Up  

 

Check out this adorable indoor Holiday Market Pop-Up! With a selection of local makers products including hand-knit items jewelry home decor holiday planters and wreathes body and skincare items pottery and more! 

This event is free and located at 188 Locke St S Hamilton, ON L8P 4B3.  

Come by with your family and friends during their hours of operation:

Monday – Wednesday: 12pm-6pm / Thursday – Friday: 12pm-7pm / Friday – Saturday: 10am-7pm / Sunday: 10am-4pm.

Concession Street Winter Solstice 

 

This event will take place all along Concession street from Dec. 1st to Dec. 24th  There is no cost to attend this event, but there will be opportunity to purchase items as there will be merchants sales and holiday promotions all month long!

 Effective Dec. 22nd you may toboggan on these designated hills

Ice Skating at Hamilton Waterfront Outdoor Rink – Pier 8

This event opens on Dec. 24th from 10am – 10 pm. However, to rent skating gear (skates, helmet) it will open from 5pm – 10 pm the $10 fee includes skates, helmet and safety gear.

Clients and staff come together for a casual conversation about our week. LiGHT Trial – Living Green and Healthy for Teens 

 

Friday December 24th from 7pm-9pm, Youth age 10-16 and their parents are invited to participate in research comparing two smartphone apps. The apps aim to help families maintain healthy eating habits and activity patterns together.
