Important Updates to the CUAET Program

Please be advised that Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), has announced changes to programs and services offered through the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) program. In our ongoing effort to provide support during this transition, this page provides important information for individuals directly impacted by these changes, their families and the broader community.

Key Changes to the CUAET Program

As of March 31, 2025, CUAET holders and their dependents will no longer qualify for IRCC-funded programs including settlement and employment services through IWC.

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Classes: Students registered in IWC LINC classes can continue to attend classes until June 19th, 2025.

IWC is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all clients affected by the changes introduced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to access other eligible programs and services within IWC.
