Mental Health Support for Newcomers

Learn how to take care of your mental well-being in your new community! Our special guest speaker from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) will share helpful information about:

  • Understanding mental health and wellness
  • Tips for staying well and knowing when to seek help
  • How to access community programs, counselling and crisis services
  • Local mental health resources & supports in the city
  • Stress, anxiety and challenges newcomers may face
