WorkLink – Careers in Long-Term Care

Interested in exploring a career in the long-term care industry? Our next WorkLink course can support you! In this 6-week program, learners will:

  • Understand roles and responsibilities for various entry-level positions in the long-term care industry including: housekeeping, concierge, dining room server, cook helper and care attendant
  • Enhance communication skills and learn industry-specific language
  • Receive training and workplace orientation

Program Components:

  • Workplace language training
  • Job readiness certifications
  • Personalized one-on-one employment support

ELIGIBILITY: Permanent residents, Convention refugees and Protected Persons with CLB 4 or higher.
