WorkLink – Careers in Long-Term Care

Interested in exploring a career in the long-term care industry? Our next WorkLink course can support you! In this 7-week program in partnership with Parkland Ancaster, learners will:

  • Understand roles and responsibilities for various entry-level positions in the long-term care industry
  • Enhance communication skills and learn industry-specific language
  • Receive training and workplace orientation

Program Components:
– Occupational language training

–Health & Safety, WHMIS, Food Handler and Customer Service Certifications

–Basic First Aid and CPR Training

-Personalized employment support

ELIGIBILITY: Permanent residents, Convention refugees and Protected Persons with CLB 4 or higher.
